The next episode in NJ PBS’s “Soundcheck” series will feature footage from onstage and backstage at the The Vogel at the Count Basie Center for the Arts in Red Bank, where Gibson brought her Winterlicious Tour on Nov. 30. The show premieres Dec. 20 at 9:30 p.m., with repeats Dec. 24 at 5 p.m. and Dec. 25 at 9:30 p.m. and additional showings on other public television outlets, and streaming on MyNJPBS.org.
The show, hosted by Jen Eckert, features holiday standards “White Christmas” and “Let It Snow” as well as Gibson originals “The Gift” and “Christmas Dreams,” and some of her past hits. Joey McIntyre of New Kids on the Block, who duets with Gibson on her new holiday album Winterlicious, is also interviewed as part of the program.
“I grew up a fan of public television and loved sharing the start of my first-ever holiday tour with Jen and the NJ PBS audience,” said Gibson in a press release. “My team and I are so thrilled with how the feeling of the show translates thanks to the incredible crew who captured highlights from the New Jersey performance!”
Previous “Soundcheck” episodes, also filmed at the Basie and now available for streaming, featured Jake Shimabukuro and Beth Hart.
