Earth, Wind & Fire and Chicago, who postponed their Aug. 3 concert at The PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel because of bad weather, at the last minute — approximately two hours after the show had been scheduled to start — have rescheduled it for Sept. 14.
According to the PNC Bank Arts Center, “All previously purchased tickets will be honored for the new date and ticket holders who purchased via Ticketmaster will be emailed directly with more information.”
The tour, titled Heart & Soul Tour 2024, has been including separate sets by both groups as well as an encore featuring members of both teaming up to play songs from both catalogs.
Chicago also has added three New Jersey shows without Earth, Wind & Fire: Oct. 26 at The Mayo Performing Arts Center in Morristown; and Nov. 1-2 at The Hard Rock Live at Etess Arena at The Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City.
Here is a video of Chicago and members of Earth, Wind & Fire performing Chicago’s “25 or 6 to 4” together, July 13 at the Xcel Energy Center in Saint Paul, Minnesota.
