The Growing Stage in Netcong will present “Snow White” this month.

New Jersey’s leading children’s theater, The Growing Stage in Netcong, will reopen its doors to the public and kick off its 39th season with a two-actor, one-musician version of “Snow White,” written by Greg Banks.

That’s right, two actors will play all the characters, including all Seven Dwarves.

Shows will take place Oct. 16 at 7:30 p.m., Oct. 17 and 24 at 4 p.m. and Oct. 18 and 25 at 4 p.m. The production will also be available for streaming, Oct. 23-25.

In accordance with current state law, Growing Stage, which is housed in Netcong’s Palace Theatre (which celebrated its 100th anniversary last year), will operate at 25 percent of its usual capacity, with masks required, temperature checks, and other precautions.

The rest of Growing Stage’s 2020-21 season has not been announced yet.
