Paul McCartney won’t perform at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford until June 16, but you can get a souvenir now.
The stadium has painted its two end zones with giant letters reading “PAUL McCARTNEY: GOT BACK.” Also, “GOT BACK: JUNE 16” can be seen on the 50-year line, and “#PAULMcCARTNEYGOTBACK” is written on the two sidelines. Fans can take photos from the field or the seats tonight (Wednesday) from 5:30 to 7:30 and Thursday from noon to 2 p.m. Free parking will be available in lots F and G and fans should enter at the MetLife Gate.
Pre-sales for the concert have already begun but remaining tickets will go on sale Feb. 25 at 10 a.m. through ticketmaster.com.
McCartey’s Got Back Tour will begin April 28 in Spokane, Wash., and end at MetLife Stadium. Other East Coast dates include the Carrier Dome in Syracuse, June 4; Fenway Park in Boston, June 7; and Orioles Park in Baltimore, June 12.
These will be McCartney’s first concerts since 2019.
McCartney will turn 80 on June 18, two days after the MetLife Stadium show.
This will be McCartney’s ninth New Jersey concert (not counting his 1964 show with The Beatles in Atlantic City). Click here to see a list of all of his shows in New Jersey, through the years.
