Connie Francis released the upbeat “Mommy Your Daughter’s Falling in Love” on her 1962 album, “Do the Twist.”

In honor of Mother’s Day, today, Rich Russo kicked off his Saturday SiriusXM satellite radio show, “The Jersey Show with the Jersey Guy, Rich Russo,” with eight songs about mothers from Jersey artists, from the serious (Bruce Springsteen’s “The Wish”) to the comical (La Bamba and the Hubcaps’ “Mama Told Me Not to Come”) and the innocent (Connie Francis’ “Mommy Your Daughter’s Falling in Love”) to the not-so-innocent (Fountains of Wayne’s “Stacy’s Mom”).

Here are videos for all of them.

“The Jersey Show with the Jersey Guy, Rich Russo” can be heard Saturdays from 4 to 6 p.m. on SiriusXM’s Underground Garage (channel 21), which is overseen by Steven Van Zandt. It debuted last week.
