Jim Cullen will discuss Bruce Springsteen/Billy Joel book in online interview

As part of the Bruce Springsteen Archives & Center for American Music‘s “Conversations With Our Curator” series, Jim Cullen — author of the 2023 book, “Bridge and Tunnel Boys: Bruce Springsteen, Billy Joel, and the Metropolitan Sound of the American Century” — will be publicly interviewed by BSACAM curator Melissa Ziobro via Zoom, April 18 at 7 p.m.

A question-and-answer session with viewers will follow the interview. Those interested can register HERE.

Cullen’s other books include “Born in the USA: Bruce Springsteen and the American Tradition” (1997), whose revised and expanded third edition came out in March of this year.

The Springsteen Archives is run by Monmouth University in West Long Branch. The first interview in the series featured Lorraine Mangione and Donna Luff, co-authors of “Mary Climbs In: The Journeys of Bruce Springsteen’s Women Fans.”
