JON BON JOVI

WSVN television in Miami reports that Jon Bon Jovi cancelled an appearance there after testing positive for COVID-19.

The appearance was part of an Oct. 29-31 “Halloween Weekend Getaway” at the Loews Miami Beach Hotel that had been planned to include an acoustic concert (with Jon Bon Jovi’s own band, not the band known as Bon Jovi), a Q&A session, photo opportunities with Jon and more.

According to WSVN, he tested positive just an hour before the concert, which had been scheduled for tonight.

Jon Bon Jovi’s Bon Jovi bandmate David Bryan and Everett Bradley, who plays percussion and sings backing vocals on Bon Jovi tours, have both had COVID, and recovered.

The Bon Jovi band addressed the pandemic with its song, “Do What You Can,” which was released in July 2020. “I saw a Red Cross on the Hudson/They turned off the Broadway lights/Another ambulance screams by/There by the grace of God go I,” Jon sang.
