Bruce Springsteen’s longtime manager Jon Landau will be the next interviewee in the “What’s Up on E Street?” series presented by the Bruce Springsteen Archives and Center for American Music at Monmouth University in West Long Branch.
He’ll be interviewed by veteran journalist and museum executive Bob Santelli, and the episode will go live Dec. 15 at 10 a.m. at monmouth.edu/springsteen-archives-and-center-for-american-music and the Archives’ Facebook page.
Landau, who was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame this year, worked as a music journalist before becoming a manager. “He influenced an entire generation of music journalists with his savvy criticism and incredible music knowledge,” said Santelli in a press release. Landau also produced or co-produced albums for Springsteen, Jackson Browne, The MC5 and others.
I am embedding all the videos in both series on this NJArts.net page, so I will add this one, too, when it becomes available.
Previous guests in the What’s E Up on E Street? series have been Nils Lofgren, Roy Bittan, Max Weinberg, Garry Tallent, Steven Van Zandt and Thom Zimny.
