Justin Bieber — who had been scheduled to perform at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford in September but canceled that show (as well as his other 2020 concerts) several month ago — will come to New Jersey in 2021. But it will be at a smaller venue.
He’ll perform at the Prudential Center in Newark, July 9. Tickets go on sale Aug. 6 at 10 a.m. via Ticketmaster.
Other stadium shows on the tour have also been canceled and arena shows have been added at venues such as Madison Square Garden in Manhattan on July 13-14, 2021; the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia on July 11, 2021; and the Barclays Center in Brooklyn on July 20, 2021.
“I can’t wait to get out there and connect with my fans on this tour,” said Bieber in a press release. “We’ve been through so much this year. More than ever, we’ve come to understand how much we need each other, and how meaningful these moments can really be.”
The tour will run from early June to mid-August. No opening acts have been announced yet.
