Veteran actors Michael Cerveris, Dana Ivey and Richard Masur will read stories at Enlow Recital Hall at Kean University in Hillside, Nov. 16 at 7:30 p.m., in a live edition of the public radio series, “Selected Shorts.”

Tickets are available at keanstage.com.

According to the show’s web site, the readings will be “festive stories filled with love, laughter, and nostalgia.” Cerveris, a two-time Tony winner (for “Assassins” and “Fun Home”), will host as well as reading.

“Selected Shorts,” according to the site, airs on 150 public radio stations throughout the country, and more than 300,000 people listen each week through on the radio shows and its podcast. Both classic short stories and contemporary ones are featured.

The show has been running on public radio since 1985. Its usual home is Symphony Space in New York, though it often travels to other locations as well.
