Aug. 13, 2022, will be the date for the Kenny Chesney show at MetLife Stadium that was postponed from 2020, and then again from this summer.
The East Rutherford show will be part of Chesney’s Here and Now 2022 Stadium Tour (named after his last studio album, released in 2020), which will hit every region of the country and last from late April to late August.
“With every city, county and state having their own protocols, with capacity numbers shifting every day, I didn’t want to announce until we knew we could come full on … strong … and without a care in the world,” said Chesney in a press release. “I always want to be that place where you can let go, feel safe and have the time of the summer.”
Opening artists have not been named yet.
Tickets bought for the original MetLife Stadium show will still be valid. Additional tickets are available at ticketmaster.com.
According to the press release, “Refunds are immediately available at the point of purchase for those who bought from the primary ticket source for the next 30 days.”
