Lady Gaga has postponed her MetLife Stadium concert — and all her other 2021 shows — to 2022, after having already pushed the tour from 2020 to 2021 because of the pandemic. The new East Rutherford date is not available yet.
“While some parts of the world are moving quickly to open up, others are not yet ready,” she said in a message to fans. “So until we can confirm all global dates, we have to postpone The Chromatica Ball shows to the summer of 2022.”
Chromatica Ball was conceived as a very limited tour, with shows in only six venues. In addition to her New Jersey show, Gaga will perform at Stade de France in Saint-Denis, France (near Paris); Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London; Fenway Park in Boston; The Rogers Centre in Toronto; and Wrigley Field in Chicago.
The tour was named after Gaga’s Chromatica album, which came out in May 2020, and so will be two years old by the time she starts the tour.
Only one concert — by Guns N’ Roses — remains on the summer 2021 schedule for MetLife Stadium. Kenny Chesney, BTS and Rammstein also had 2020 MetLife shows that have been postponed or rescheduled.
