“Let’s Talk About Sex” will be the title of Bruce Springsteen’s 29th DJ show on SiriusXM satellite radio, debuting Oct. 13 at 10 a.m. on the network’s E Street Radio channel (channel 20).
E Street Radio DJ Jim Rotolo made the announcement on the channel, Oct. 7, and also mentioned that the show would include music by Salt-n-Pepa (their 1991 hit “Let’s Talk About Sex,” I assume), Marvin Gaye (“Let’s Get It On,” most probably), The Rolling Stones (too many song candidates to mention), Donna Summer, Jimmy Reed and others. A post on the SiriusXM blog adds that songs by Kings of Leon and Springsteen himself will be played.
The show will be part of The Boss’ “From My Home to Yours” series, which he has been doing since April 2020. Click here for an index of all the songs played in the series, as well as links to videos for the songs and transcripts for each show.
The shows have lasted from about 45 minutes to about two hours each, with repeats and on-demand availability following the initial broadcasts. “Let’s Talk About Sex” will also be played Oct. 13 at 6 p.m.; Oct. 14 at 6 a.m. and midnight; Oct. 15 at 4 p.m.; Oct. 16 at 9 a.m.; Oct. 17 at 1 and 10 p.m.; Oct. 18 at 7 a.m. and 3 p.m.; and Oct. 19 at 10 a.m.
