(UPDATE: Due to illness, Steve Forbert will not be able to perform as planned, and has been replaced by Miss Emily.)
The 2022 Light of Day WinterFest, which is already under way, has announced the lineup for its main show, which is taking place March 12 at the Count Basie Center for the Arts in Red Bank and will be dominated by festival mainstays such as Joe Grushecky & the Houserockers, Willie Nile, Jesse Malin and Joe D’Urso.
This concert is taking place in Red Bank rather than Asbury Park because of renovations being done at the Paramount Theatre.
Bruce Springsteen has made unannounced guest appearances at some but not all past Light of Day festivals. He has always done so at the main concert (as opposed to the smaller shows taking place throughout the week, mostly in Asbury Park), joining forces with Grushecky and Grushecky’s Houserockers band and, sometimes, other artists as well.
Here is the schedule. For the rest of the festival’s lineup, visit lightofday.org.
