Max Weinberg will bring ‘Jukebox’ show to Stone Pony

“You pick the songs, we play ’em” is the advertised promise of the “Max Weinberg’s Jukebox” show that the E Street Band drummer and will present at the Stone Pony in Asbury Park, Aug. 30.

Joining him will be Glen Burtnik, Bob Burger and John Merjave of The Weeklings, who will presumably handle most if not all of the vocals.

Attendees will get to make up the setlist from a video menu of more than 200 songs, including E Street material, Beatles and Stones classics, and more.

Tickets, priced at $37.50 in advance ($125 for VIP tickets which include admission to a meet-and-greet), go on sale June 23 at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster, and June 21 at 10 a.m. through a “Venue Online Presale.” Visit stoneponyonline.com.

Weinberg will also present Jukebox shows at the City Winery in New York, July 16-17. Visit citywinery.com/newyork.

According to Backstreets.com, there will also be a Jukebox show at White Eagle Hall in Jersey City, Oct. 18, though ticket information for this show is not yet available.
