“All About That Bass” singer Meghan Trainor has postponed her show scheduled for tonight at Borgata Festival Park in Atlantic City, due to a vocal cord injury. The new date is not yet available, but tickets for the original show will be honored then.
Refunds are also available at original points of purchase. For those seeking credit card refunds, call (866) 900-4849.
Festival Park will still be open today for a free performance by cover band Almost Angels from 7 to 11 p.m.
The show was going to open Trainor’s summer tour. Her July 4 concert at the Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, Conn., was also postponed.
Trainor sent out this message to her fans:
“I don’t want anyone worrying but I have had a haemorrage (sic) on my left vocal cord. The doctors wants me on complete vocal rest until they are healed so I have to cancel my first two shows in Atlantic City and Connecticut. I promise I will make it up to my Megatronz. Shows are being postponed, tickets will be honored. I have never missed a tour date before so this is killing me. I love you all very much and want to get healed quickly so I can show you this amazing tour we’ve been working on. I’m so sorry to everyone who have bought tickets and made travel plans. I am truly sorry.”
