Melissa Etheridge and Lucinda Williams, who had been scheduled to headline concerts at this year’s postponed Asbury Park Music + Film Festival, will be on the schedule for the 2021 festival. Williams will perform at the Paramount Theatre on April 23, and Etheridge will close the festival with a Paramount show on April 25.
Tickets bought for the artist’s postponed 2020 shows will be honored, while remaining tickets can be purchased via ticketmaster.com. Click here for Williams, here for Etheridge.
Other 2021 festival offerings will be announced on a later date; everything that had been scheduled for 2020 won’t necessarily happen in 2021.
The festival helps fund music education for children in the Asbury Park area.
Etheridge’s last studio album was The Medicine Show, in 2019. Williams’ most recent release was Good Souls Better Angels, which came out in April of this year.
