Michelle Obama joins Springsteen and E Street Band onstage for ‘Glory Days’ (WATCH VIDEO)

Bruce Springsteen has welcomed a lot of guest stars onto the stage with him, over his more than 50-year career. But none, perhaps, more surprising than former first lady Michelle Obama, who sang and danced during “Glory Days” during Springsteen’s April 28 concert with the E Street Band at Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys in Barcelona. Springsteen’s wife Patti Scialfa — still officially an E Street Band member though she rarely performs with the band anymore — joined Obama, as did actress Kate Capshaw.

Springsteen, Barack Obama and Capshaw’s husband, Steven Spielberg, had dinner together in Barcelona on April 27, and Barack Obama and Spielberg attended the April 28 show.

There was one tour debut — “Human Touch” — in the show, which kicked off the second, European leg of Springsteen’s 2023 tour.
