Mike Peters of the band The Alarm, founder of the cancer foundation Love Hope Strength as well as a cancer survivor himself, will headline an acoustic fundraising concert Sept. 13 at the Hamilton Stage of the Union County Performing Arts Center in Rahway.

Titled Rahway Rocks, the event will also feature Robin Wilson (of The Gin Blossoms), Pat DiNizio (of The Smithereens) and others, and be hosted by comedian and “Saturday Night Live” alumnus Jim Breuer. (SEPT. 5 UPDATE: Richard Barone, Joe D’Urso and Ray Andersen have been added to the lineup as well.)

Tickets are $75, with proceeds going go to Love Hope Strength and its partner organization, Delete Blood Cancer. Visit lovehopestrength.org.

The concert will take place in conjunction with Love Hope Strength’s Rock the Skyline charity walk being held earlier in the day along the Jersey City shoreline.
