The seventh annual Montclair Film festival, which is slightly more than a month away (April 26-May 6), will host two information sessions for prospective volunteers, March 25 from noon to 1 p.m. and March 26 from 7 to 8 p.m. They will both take place at Montclair Film’s  Investors Bank Film & Media Center at 505 Bloomfield Ave.

Some of the areas in which people can volunteer are: theater operations, box office, merchandise, driving, event production, street teams, local business outreach, online marketing and photography. Volunteers also can help out in Montclair Film’s other programs, throughout the year.

Volunteers must be 16 and will receive several perks, including movie vouchers, Montclair Film membership, merchandise discount and invitations to volunteer events. For information, visit montclairfilm.org/about/volunteer.

The volunteer program is made possible by support from the American Express Foundation.

The festival’s program will be announced on April 6. Already announced, though, is a performance by Taylor Mac at the Wellmont Theater, May 4.
