The Montclair Film Festival ends today with a surge of optimism for the future, as it was announced, last night, that Investors Bank has donated a Montclair building to be used as the festival’s permanent home. It’s located at 505 Bloomfield Ave. and will be called the Investors Bank Film & Media Center.
According to a press release, it will house the festival’s “expanding year-round programs, events, educational offerings, and administrative offices.”
MFF founder Bob Feinberg said in the same press release that it “represents a major milestone in the realization of our vision for a world-class film organization.”
The festival also has announced this year’s award winners. They are:
David Carr Award for Truth in Non-Fiction Filmmaking Winner: “Peace Officer,” directed by Scott Christopherson.
