Ozzy Osbourne’s No More Tours 2 will come to Holmdel and Camden in September.

It’s official: It’s the year of the farewell tour.

Following announcements by Elton John and Paul Simon that their upcoming tours will be the last, Ozzy Osbourne has done the same.

Osbourne’s No More Tours 2 tour — his first No More Tours tour took place in 1992, which should give you an idea of how seriously to take it when rock stars announce they will be touring for the last time — is set to visit Mexico, South America and Europe in May and June. There will also be a couple of festival shows in Florida in late April; the tour will hit the rest of the United States and Canada from late August to mid-October.

The New Jersey shows will take place Sept. 10 at the PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel; and Sept. 12 at the BB&T Pavilion in Camden. Stone Sour will open both New Jersey shows.

Tickets go on sale Feb. 17 at 10 a.m., with a presale for Citi card holders beginning Feb. 14 at 10 a.m.

Like Elton John, Osbourne, 69, is planning a three-year world tour, with dates into 2020.
