Paper Mill Playhouse announces schedule for 2022 Brookside Cabaret shows

The Paper Mill Playhouse will present cabaret shows once again, this summer, in its Carriage House Restaurant.

As it did in 2020 and 2021, the Paper Mill Playhouse in Millburn will present outdoor cabaret shows — featuring performers who, in many cases, have performed on Broadway and/or at the Paper Mill itself — at its F.M. Kirby Carriage House Restaurant, beginning June 29.

The shows will be at 7 p.m., with seating for dinner beginning at 5:30 p.m.

Here is the schedule:

June 29-July 2: Jenna Pastuszek, “Me, Myself & Barbra” (Barbra Streisand tribute)
July 6-9: Marieann Meringolo, “Shades of Love” (songs by Joni Mitchell, Janis Ian, Billy Joel, Marsha Malamet, Neil Sedaka and others)
July 13-16: Susan Speidel and Joe Regan
July 20-23: Alexander Kariotis & the Rock Opera Orchestra
Aug. 3-6: Kelli Rabke (“Tiny Giants: The Broadway Edition,” a new version of her “Tiny Giants: Petite Powerhouses from Garland to Gaga” show)
Aug. 10-13: Major Attaway (pop, Broadway, and the American songbook material, including new arrangements of Frank Sinatra classics)
Aug. 17-20: Elena Shaddow
Aug. 24-27: The Playbillies (bluegrass versions of Broadway songs, featuring Mike Rosengarten on banjo, Matt Cusack on bass, Armando Gutierrez on guitar and Erica Swindell on fiddle)
Aug. 31-Sept. 3: Elizabeth Ward Land (“Still Within the Sound of My Voice,” Linda Ronstadt tribute)
Sept. 7-10: Belinda Allyn (songs by Rodgers & Hammerstein, Alan Menken and Stephen Sondheim, plus pop hits and standards)
Sept. 14-17: Kissy Simmons (jazz, R&B and show tunes, ranging from Ella Fitgerald to Whitney Houston, Barbra Streisand and Disney favorites)
