The Jersey-based roots-jam band Railroad Earth will present drive-in concerts at the Sussex County Fairgrounds in Augusta, Oct. 30-31 at 6 p.m.
“Halloween party … costumes welcome!” says a message on the sussexcountylive.com web site.
Other shows, by other artists TBA, are planned at the same venue, which has, in the past, hosted annual events such as the Crawfish Fest; the Rock, Ribs and Ridges Festival; and the New Jersey State Fair/Sussex County Farm & Horse Show.
According to the web site, Sussex County Live is “an all-ages outdoor music series featuring national touring acts.”
Railroad Earth, which performed its first show since March on Oct. 1, in Virginia, posted on its Facebook page: “After an incredible first weekend back, it’s exciting to keep it going with a safe, socially distanced, masked show all transmitted via PA and FM radio to the comfort of your car and tailgating zone. Ample coronavirus guidelines will be strictly enforced — get details about tickets, setup, precautions and more at sussexcountylive.com. Pre-sale tickets are available NOW (password is HOBOS) and general on-sale is tomorrow at 12pm ET.” (Tomorrow refers to Oct. 9.)
