(May 5 Update: Unfortunately, the video was taken off YouTube and can no longer be seen. But trust me, it was really good. — J.L.)

Remember Jones and his large backing band — who previously have performed albums by artists such as Amy Winehouse, Kanye West and Joe Cocker in their entirety — explored the music of Queen at their sold-out April 28 concert at Count Basie Center for the Arts in Red Bank. The show was part of the Asbury Park Music and Film Festival.

You can watch Jones channel the spirit of the late Freddie Mercury on Queen’s signature hit, “Bohemian Rhapsody,” below. Thanks to Rose Montana for posting the performance to YouTube!

Remember Jones will perform Winehouse’s Back to Black album, as well as a set of original material, at the Gramercy Theatre in New York, May 24 at 7 p.m. Visit livenation.com.

He will also open for Southside Johnny & the Asbury Jukes at their annual Fourth of July week appearance at the Stone Pony Summer Stage in Asbury Park, July 6 at 5 p.m. Visit ticketmaster.com.
