Ringo Starr & his All Starr Band have added a show at the Count Basie Center for the Arts in Red Bank to their summer tour. They will be there June 7 at 7 p.m.
Tickets, priced from $78 to $298, go on sale Feb. 28 at noon, with a limited number of $399 and $499 VIP packages also available. Visit thebasie.org.
Starr has already announced shows at the Paramount Theatre in Asbury Park, June 14; the Beacon Theatre in New York, June 2-3 and 5, and the Metropolitan Opera House in Philadelphia, June 21.
The current edition of the all-star All Starr Band features Steve Lukather, Colin Hay, Gregg Rolie, Warren Ham, Gregg Bissonette and Hamish Stuart. Hay, best known as a member of Men at Work, wrote the title track of Starr’s What’s My Name album, which was released in October.
