ROD STEWART

Rod Stewart’s tour with Cheap Trick, originally scheduled for 2020 but postponed to 2021 because of the pandemic, has been postponed again, to the summer of 2022.

The tour is now scheduled to run from early July to early September in 2022. Here are the new local dates, with links for those who want to buy tickets (tickets to the original shows will be honored).

Aug. 16, 2022: PNC Bank Arts Center, Holmdel.
Aug. 19, 2022: Hard Rock Live at Etess Arena at Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, Atlantic City.
Aug. 23, 2022: Northwell Health at Jones Beach Theater, Wantagh, N.Y.

Stewart also has dates scheduled for Australia and New Zealand in March and April of 2022. Cheap Trick, meanwhile, has a U.S. tour scheduled for this summer, and will be at the MMR*B*Q concert sponsored by Philadelphia radio station WMMR (93.3 FM), Sept. 25 at the BB&T Pavilion in Camden; other performers will include Jane’s Addiction, The Offspring, Dirty Honey, Mammoth and Dorothy.

Stewart turned 76 in January. His latest album, You’re in My Heart: Rod Stewart with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, came out in November 2019. It features orchestral versions of hits such as “Maggie May,” “The First Cut is the Deepest,” “Have I Told You Lately” and “Forever Young.”

Good luck! No you won’t. Unless it is cancelled you have no recourse or you sell them yourself. I have tickets for Toronto show and the country isn’t even open. I still can’t get my money back. That’s why they just keep postponing. He doesn’t want to give back the advance they gave him!
