The XPoNential Music Festival will take place in Camden, Sept. 20-22.

The XPoNential Music Festival has announced eight acts who will perform Sept. 20-22 at Wiggins Park in Camden — Rosanne Cash, Phosphorescent, Blondshell, Bully, The Heavy Heavy, Lizzie No, Cedric Burnside and Grace Bowers — with many more to come.

(FEB. 29 UPDATE: Eight more artists — The Walkmen, Pete Yorn, Jade Bird, George Porter Jr. & Runnin’ Pardners, Brigitte Calls Me Baby, Florry, Velvet Rouge, Mostapha Noumbissi and Carla Gamble — have been added to the lineup.)

More than 20 artists (including Tegan & Sara, The Hold Steady and Low Cut Connie) performed last year.

An annual event since 1994, The XPoNential Music Festival is produced by — and its name refers to — Philadelphia public radio station WXPN.

There will be two stages in Wiggins Park, which is located on the Camden waterfront. The festival will also offer a children’s activities center, and food and drink vendors.

Three-day and one-day passes will be available at xpnfest.org starting Feb. 29 at 10 a.m. And starting today, during WXPN’s Winter Member Drive, new and renewing members can make donations that will include discounts or complimentary tickets, depending on the donation level.
