Ross Farm in Basking Ridge announces summer music series, including jazz festival

Eilen Jewell will perform at Ross Farm in Basking Ridge, June 15.

Ross Farm, the 18th century estate in Basking Ridge, has announced the lineup for this year’s edition of its annual summertime Ross Farm Music Series — including the first Ross Farm Jazz Fest, which will take place on May 17.

Here is the schedule. Shows will be on the lawn except for the first two, which will be in the barn.

May 4, 2 p.m.: Niall Connolly
May 10, 7 p.m.: Justin Howl
May 17, 2-8 p.m.: Ross Farm Jazz Fest with Dave Stryker Quartet (with Troy Roberts), Frankie Midnight Quartet, Carl Gerhard, and students from Rutgers, Montclair State and William Paterson universities, and Ridge High School
May 31, 7 p.m.: Vanessa Collier
June 15, 6 p.m.: Eilen Jewell, Taylor Ashton
June 22, 6 p.m.: Alysha Brilla
July 19, 7 p.m.: Chris Smither, The Suitcase Junket
July 26, 7 p.m.: Brooks Hubbard Band, The Toll Collectors

There will also be some shows, to be announced on a later date, in the fall.
