The second SopranosCon convention, originally scheduled for the summer of 2020 at Harrah’s in Atlantic City, had to be postponed because of the pandemic, but is now scheduled to take place at Harrah’s on July 24 and 25 of this year, simultaneously with MobMovieCon.
The first SopranosCon took place at the Meadowlands Exposition Center in Secaucus in 2019.
Actors listed as attending this year’s convention on the SopranosCon web site include Dominic Chianese (Junior Soprano), Vincent Pastore (“Big Pussy” Bonpensiero), Federico Castellucio (Furio), Drea de Matteo (Adriana), Vincent Curatolo (Johnny Sack), David Proval (Richie Aprile), Dan Grimaldi (Patsy Parisi) and Tony Darrow (“Larry Boy” Barese).
In association with the SopranosCon and MobMovieCon conventions, there will also be a reunion of cast members of the 1996 movie “Gotti” (including Chianese, Pastore, Armand Assante and William Forsythe) and a Mob Movie Awards ceremony hosted by Ice-T.
For updates, visit sopranoscon.com or the convention’s social media sites on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
SopranosCon is not officially affiliated with the groundbreaking TV series, which initially ran on HBO from 1999 to 2007.
