After Bruce Springsteen postponed concerts in Marseille (May 25), Prague (May 28) and Milan (June 1 and 3) due to vocal problems, fans in those cities gathered in large public spaces to listen to other fans perform The Boss’ music. Videos of those events have been all over the internet. And he definitely noticed.
In a video taped in New Jersey and posted to social media today, Springsteen apologized for the postponements, and promised to return to “give you the show of your lives.” He also said that “I have to thank our incredible fans in the cities of Marseilles, and Milan, and Prague, for their beautiful serenading when we weren’t feeling so good. It was really touching, deeply emotional, and it’s something I won’t forget.”

The E Street Band tour is expected to resume June 12 in Madrid. The Marseille and Prague shows have been rescheduled for May 31, 2025, and June 15, 2025, respectively (the new dates for Milan have not yet been announced). This means, among other things, that Springsteen’s current tour, which began in 2023, will definitely stretch into 2025.
