ZANDT ARCHIVES INTERVIEW

STEVEN VAN ZANDT

Steven Van Zandt will talk about his upcoming live album in an interview that will be part of the Soundstage series of the Bruce Springsteen Archives and Center for American Music at Monmouth University in West Long Branch. The interview, with veteran music journalist Bob Santelli, will be available for free, online, starting June 24 at 10 a.m. on the Archives’ website and its Facebook page.

The three-CD live album will be titled Summer of Sorcery Live! At The Beacon Theatre and is due out July 9.

Another project that may come up in the interview is Van Zandt’s autobiography, “Unrequited Infatuations: A Memoir,” which will be released in September.

The E Street Band member, solo artist and Underground Garage founder previously was interviewed in the Archives’ What’s Up on E Street? series.

I have embedded all interviews in the What’s Up on E Street? series (Nils Lofgren, Roy Bittan, Max Weinberg, Garry Tallent, Van Zandt, Thom Zimny, Jon Landau and Lisa Lowell) as well as in the Soundstage series (David Sancious, Lofgren, The Delevantes with Tallent, Tom Morello, Arlo Guthrie and Ken Ehrlich), here.
