Hot 97’s 25th annual Summer Jam concert attracted, as usual, some of the biggest names in hip-hop: Most were on the bill, but some were surprise guests. Kendrick Lamar headlined; Swizz Beatz and Timbaland engaged in a DJ Battle; and Meek Mill drove an ATV onto the stage without wearing a helmet and popped a wheelie, repeating the actions that notoriously got him arrested in New York last year.
Other performers included Remy Ma (with guests Fat Joe and Lil’ Kim), Bell Biv DeVoe, Lil Wayne, A$AP Ferg, Tory Lanez and A Boogie. Celebrities in attendance included Busta Rhymes, Colin Kaepernick, Chris Paul and James Harden.
