THOM ZIMNY

Filmmaker Thom Zimny — who has worked with Bruce Springsteen on many projects in the past and has, most recently directed a new documentary about the making of Springsteen’s Letter to You album — will be the next interviewee in the “What’s Up on E Street?” series presented by the Bruce Springsteen Archives and Center for American Music at Monmouth University in West Long Branch.

He’ll be interviewed by veteran journalist and museum executive Bob Santelli, and the episode will go live Nov. 17 at 10 a.m. at monmouth.edu/springsteen-archives-and-center-for-american-music and the Archives’ Facebook page.

Also, Santelli will interview Arlo Guthrie about “Alice’s Restaurant” and more, for the Archives’ Soundstage series. That episode will go live Nov. 19 at 10 a.m. and also will be available at the links above.

I am embedding all the videos in both series on this NJArts.net page, so I will add these there, when they become available.

Previous guests in the What’s E Up on E Street? series have been Nils Lofgren, Roy Bittan, Max Weinberg, Garry Tallent and Steven Van Zandt. Soundstage has devoted episodes to Lofgren, David Sancious, The Delevantes (featuring Tallent) and Tom Morello.
