TONY BENNETT
A 20-date tour endorsed by the Tony Bennett estate and titled “Tony Bennett — The Official Musical Celebration” will take place in October and include shows at BergenPAC in Englewood, Oct. 13; The Mayo Performing Arts Center in Morristown, Oct. 23; The Count Basie Center for the Arts in Red Bank, Oct. 24; and The NYCB at Westbury Theatre in Westbury, New York, Oct. 27.

According to a press release, the tour will include a big band playing Bennett’s arrangements and a cast of Broadway vocalists TBA, accompanied, visually, by photos and video footage of Bennett himself, who died last year at the age of 96.
The tour is being co-produced by TCG Entertainment and Iconoclast. In the press release, TCG Entertainment CEO Stephen Cook said the tour will offer “a rare inside look at Bennett’s personal life and work,” and Iconoclast founder and CEO Olivier Chastan said that “we are confident that this production will offer fans a spectacular and enduring tribute to the greatest interpreter of the American Songbook and a true icon.”
According to the press release, additional markets will be announced.
