Willie Nelson to bring Outlaw Music Festival to PNC Bank Arts Center in August

Willie Nelson’s Outlaw Music Festival comes to the PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel, Aug. 6.

Willie Nelson, who turns 90 on April 29, will bring his Outlaw Music Festival to the PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel, Aug. 6.

Other performers at the show, which will start around 4 p.m., will include The Avett Brothers, Marcus King, Kathleen Edwards, Flatland Cavalry and Particle Kid.

Tickets go on sale March 17 at 10 a.m., with pre-sales starting March 14 at 10 a.m. Visit ticketmaster.com.

There will also be a show, Aug. 5 at the TD Pavilion at The Mann in Philadelphia, with the same lineup.

In his 40th year of eligibility, Nelson was finally nominated, this year, for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Inductees will be announced in May.

Also, a two-night, 90-birthday celebration — featuring Neil Young, Chris Stapleton, The Chicks, Sheryl Crow, Snoop Dogg, Tom Jones, Miranda Lambert and many others — will be held at the Hollywood Bowl, April 29-30.
