Free Woodbridge concerts

Willie Nile will present a free concert in Woodbridge, Aug. 29.

Willie Nile, Charlie Hunter, Amy Helm, Mike Stern, Susan Werner and Little Feat members Paul Barrere and Fred Tackett will be among the performers in more than 50 free concerts presented in Woodbridge this summer. As it has been doing for the last few years, the town will offer one of the state’s most ambitious series of free concerts, with five nights of music on some weeks, and six on others.

There will be oldies on Mondays; tribute bands on Tuesdays; folk, rock, blues and world music on Wednesdays; local bands on Thursdays; jazz on the second Friday of each month; and country on Sundays.
