The band Dawes will co-headline this year’s XPoNential Music Festival.

The annual XPoNential Music Festival may be confined to Camden’s Wiggins Park and not include larger shows in its other usual venue, the nearby BB&T Pavilion, this year.

Performers at the Sept. 17-19 festival will include Dawes, Los Lobos, The Record Company, Shovels & Rope, Ani DiFranco, Strand of Oaks, Devon Gilfillian, Nicole Atkins, Cory Henry, Adia Victoria, Christone “Kingfish” Ingram, Jade Bird, Sierra Ferrell, Sofía Valdés, Michaela Anne, Paul Beaubrun and Lakou Mizik.

According to the festival’s web site, “There will be additional artists announced for Wiggins Park and possibly for BB&T Pavilion later this summer.”

Also, according to the site, “We hope to have performances at BB&T Pavilion, however, it will depend on the availability of artists who are currently reworking their schedules to accommodate COVID-delayed shows.”

The festival is presented by Philadelphia radio station WXPN (88.5 FM) and festival passes are currently being offered as a gift with XPN membership. Daily and weekend tickets will go on sale later, on a date to be announced.

A schedule of set times is not yet available.

The festival, which was founded in 1994, was online-only last year, and is moving from its usual time (July) to September this year.
