Hoboken rock trio Yo La Tengo will present an intimate concert fundraiser for the Harris/Walz campaign at Little City Books in Hoboken, Sept. 26 at 7 p.m. This event will seat only 50 people.

Tickets prices start at $300 (larger donations can be made as well), with proceeds being donated to ActBlue to benefit the campaign.

The band, which formed in Hoboken in 1984, has offered to perform at additional small concerts for hosts willing to make a generous contribution to the campaign. They stated on Instagram last month: “Bring us to your backyard for a quiet get-together with your closest friends! Book us in your living room, basement, barn, or local VFW hall for an audience of people you’ve never met in your life! The logistics are (mostly) your problem, but if you’re willing to spend big to support the Democratic ticket in 2024, Yo La Tengo will come to you.”

Yo La Tengo released its 16th studio album, This Stupid World, last year.

The band will also perform at White Eagle Hall in Jersey City, Sept. 23-24. Visit whiteeaglehalljc.com.
